I'm still on a journey...
After a long academic career conducting research and teaching doctoral students in health service psychology, I now spend my time growing fruit in rural Oregon, writing, and running a small psychology practice two days per week via telehealth.
Grace Swirls is the name of my blog, an endeavor to wrap words around one of the most important and enduring interests of my life. I truly would be lost without grace. Perhaps we all would. But the theological certainty I once had is waning, and so I use the image of a swirl to remind myself that grace is not easily contained or defined. Still, it shows up every day in expected and unexpected ways, in mystery and paradox, and in the gifts we find in each moment if we have eyes to see.
